4. Insert a thin, plastic tool into the keyboard release hole next to the fan, and then press on the back

of the keyboard until the keyboard disengages from the computer.

5. Open the computer as far as it will open.

6. Lift the rear edge of the keyboard (1) until it rests at an angle.

7. Slide the keyboard (2) toward the display until the tabs on the front edge of the keyboard

disengage from the top cover.
